Ormos Korthi - Andros

KORTHI
Location: In the homonymous settlement of Andros, in the southeastern part of the island.   Special features: It is large in size, with clear blue waters. The strong winds in August make it hard for those who want to enjoy swimming in quiet waters, but the bay is ideal for surfing.
GRIAS PIDIMA
Location: On the southeastern side of the island, in the northern part of Korthi bay.   Special features: The long stone rock that springs from its waters. It's not a big beach. It has sand and fine pebbles and its waters are crystal clear.
SYNETI
Location: On the eastern side of the island, between Chora and Korthi.   Special features: Among the most beautiful beaches of the island. With pebbles, deep and crystal clear waters and caves in the sea. The volume of the mountains creates shade in the afternoon hours. It is exposed to the winds. Here ends the gorge "Dipotamata", with the traditional watermills. Several scenes of the film "Little England" were filmed here.
VINTZI
Location: On the southeastern side of the island, in the area of ??Korthi.   Special features: A small beach with minimal sand, but with good access and crystal clear waters, is ideal for those who love swimming and avoid sunbathing. Features cabins and showers. There is a tavern very nearby.
PLAKA
Location: On the southwest side of Andros, on the road to Korthi.   Special features: Crystal clear water, with plenty of salt drying on you. There are trees, buildings where boats are kept (called "cliffs") and rocks that make it an ideal beach for fishing. Remarkable traces of a prehistoric settlement have been identified in the area.
